Privacy Notice

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account or use BrokerTrust.ai, we may collect the following information: your email address, phone number, carrier name, USDOT number, driver's license information (for users without an active DOT number), IP address, browser and device information, and your broker lookup and review history on the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to verify your identity and carrier status, operate and improve the platform, facilitate carrier vetting and broker transparency, support broker dispute resolution through BrokerMark and FreightGuard Defender, and communicate with you about your account, submissions, and platform updates.

3. What We Share

We never sell your personal data. All carrier ratings, reviews, and BrokerStrike reports submitted on the platform are completely anonymous — we will never share your name, carrier identity, driver information, or any personal data with brokers or any third party. Reviews are displayed as verified but without any identifying information. The only exception is the FreightGuard Defender process, where carrier information must be shared with the broker in order to resolve the dispute on your behalf — and only with your authorization when filing the case.

4. The Carrier Wall

BrokerTrust.ai is built exclusively for carriers and drivers. Brokers and 3PLs cannot access carrier-side features, dashboards, or internal tools. All ratings, reviews, and trust scores you submit remain anonymous to brokers. This separation is a core principle of the platform.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored on Supabase, a US-based infrastructure provider. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest to protect your information.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at PalletJack@brokertrust.ai. We will process your request promptly and confirm once your data has been removed.

7. Cookies & Session Data

BrokerTrust.ai uses sessionStorage for authentication purposes. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. No advertising or analytics trackers are embedded on the platform.

Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

BrokerTrust.ai is for motor carriers and drivers only. Freight brokers, 3PLs, and their employees or agents are strictly prohibited from creating accounts or accessing carrier-side features. Any attempt to do so will result in an immediate and permanent domain ban.

2. Truthfulness

All submissions on BrokerTrust.ai, including broker reviews, BrokerMark reports, and FreightGuard Defender dispute filings, must be truthful, accurate, and made in good faith. You are legally responsible for every statement you submit through the platform.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your login credentials or magic-link sign-in URLs with anyone. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

5. BrokerStrike Reports

BrokerStrike is a paid subscriber feature. Each subscriber may file up to 3 BrokerStrike reports per rolling 7-day period. To file a BrokerStrike on a broker, the carrier must first have submitted a review on the same broker — BrokerStrike is an escalation tier, not a standalone complaint channel.

All BrokerStrike reports are reviewed by BrokerTrust before publication to ensure they meet our evidence and accuracy standards. Filing does not guarantee publication — reports that lack supporting evidence, fail verification, or appear to be filed in bad faith may be rejected, and rejection does not waive the requirement that submitters file reports truthfully.

Once verified and published, a BrokerStrike report may be retained on the broker's profile subject to correction, appeal, resolution, identity-theft review, or removal under BrokerTrust review policies. Reports may also be updated, retracted by the carrier, or marked resolved if the underlying issue is addressed (for example, if payment is later made). BrokerTrust records are risk indicators, not legal findings.

5a. Broker Response Process

Brokers do not have access to carrier-side features or carrier identities, but they may submit a formal response to a BrokerStrike filed against them. Before a verified report is publicly displayed on the broker's profile, BrokerTrust contacts the broker at the contact email captured during filing and provides a 72-hour response window through a one-time secure link.

During the response window, the broker may submit payment proof, written explanations, correction requests, identity-theft claims, or other documentation. Broker responses are reviewed by BrokerTrust before any final publication decision is made. When appropriate, the broker's response or resolution status may be displayed alongside the report.

If a broker believes a report was filed in bad faith, contains false statements, or is the result of identity theft, they may contact BrokerTrust at PalletJack@brokertrust.ai to initiate an appeal.

5b. Subscriptions, Fees, and Refunds

BrokerTrust offers four monthly or annual carrier subscription tiers, priced by fleet truck count:

A seat is one user account that can log in to BrokerTrust, file broker reviews, file FreightGuard Defender cases, and view full broker report cards. Only the primary seat on each subscription (the user who created the subscription) can file BrokerStrike reports — additional seats on multi-seat plans have full read access and can file reviews and FG cases, but cannot file BrokerStrikes.

BrokerStrike filings are subject to manual review by BrokerTrust staff before publication. Up to 3 BrokerStrike filings per subscription per rolling 7-day period are processed in the standard review window. Additional filings beyond 3 in any 7-day period are still accepted and reviewed, but may take longer to publish at BrokerTrust's discretion. There is no hard cap on the number of filings a subscriber may submit.

Annual subscribers receive 1 FreightGuard Defender Case Research Fee waiver per subscription year, which expires unused at year's end. The credit is one per subscription regardless of seat count.

Recurring billing. By starting a subscription, you authorize BrokerTrust to charge the payment method on file the listed amount on a recurring monthly or annual basis until you cancel. Subscriptions auto-renew at the same price unless you cancel at least one billing day before renewal. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard or by emailing PalletJack@brokertrust.ai; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then.

Refunds. Monthly subscriptions are not refunded for partial months. Annual subscriptions may be refunded on a pro-rated basis within the first 30 days; after 30 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable but may be cancelled to stop renewal. Per-case fees (FreightGuard Defender Case Research Fee, FreightGuard Resolution Fee) are non-refundable once BrokerTrust has begun work on a case. The Case Research Fee covers the time and effort BrokerTrust spends investigating your dispute regardless of outcome.

Free trial. Approved carriers receive 7 days of full feature access, except BrokerStrike filing which requires an active paid subscription. Trial access ends automatically after 7 days; we do not auto-charge you when the trial ends — to keep access you must subscribe. (During alpha launch, approved carriers may receive an extended free Founding Member plan in lieu of a trial; the same rules apply when that program ends.)

FreightGuard credit. The annual-plan FreightGuard credit waives the $49.99 Case Research Fee on one FreightGuard Defender filing per subscription year. The credit is use-it-or-lose-it; unused credits expire at the end of the subscription year and do not roll over. The credit does not waive the Resolution Fee that applies if BrokerTrust successfully resolves a case in your favor.

Chargebacks. If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting BrokerTrust first, your account may be suspended pending review. We will work with you to resolve any billing concern directly — please email PalletJack@brokertrust.ai first.

5c. SMS / Text Message Communications (TCPA)

BrokerTrust may send case-update text messages (FreightGuard / BrokerStrike status changes, etc.) only to carriers who explicitly opt in during signup or in their account settings. Consent to SMS is not a condition of using BrokerTrust — you can use the platform fully without ever providing SMS consent, and we will send the same updates by email instead. Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.

6. Intellectual Property

BrokerTrust.ai, BrokerStrike, Carrier Wall, FreightGuard Defense, and all related names, logos, and branding are the intellectual property of BrokerTrust. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any BrokerTrust branding without prior written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

BrokerTrust.ai provides information for informational purposes only. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal, financial, or insurance advice. FMCSA data, broker profiles, and trust scores are provided as-is without warranty of any kind. BrokerTrust is not liable for decisions made based on information obtained through the platform.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms of Service, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update this Privacy Notice and Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the platform. Your continued use of BrokerTrust.ai after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
